Well, folks. This is it... for now. But worry not, most of us will be back next year. Until then, here's my class evaluation:
1. In general, what did you like most about this class?
Hmm. I guess the obvious answer is the animating. sometimes it can be stressful, annoying, angering, etc., but it can also be pretty relaxing and fun. I'll probably continue to animate in my free time after this year ends.
2. What was your favorite project and why?
The final project. I'm really proud of how that one turned out, and going back to my earlier animation, it just shows how much I progressed through the year. Even 3D animation helped me on my final project, as I got used to using different camera techniques.
3. In general, what did you like least about this class?
This class takes up a lot of time, but it's nothing I can't handle. It does put a shortage on my studying for other tests, but I got through those alright. Honestly, there wasn't a lot I didn't like.
Oh, and storyboards, but there's not a whole lot anyone can do about that.
4. What was your least favorite project and why?
If I never rotoscope again in my life, I'll die a happy man. It just eats up time.
5. What are your future plans upon graduation?
College, for film. Somewhere. I wish I knew where, but I don't.
6. Do you feel that this class will help you achieve your future academic or career goals? Please give specific examples.
I'm really planning on focusing in on film, so I'll probably have a much better answer to this next year. I think this class has improved my art skills greatly and taught me that for every problem, there's a solution. Always.
7. What advice would you give to incoming students?
Storyboards are an absolute pain. Do them anyway.
8. Additional comments:
None.
Have a great summer everyone.
