Portal: No Escape
It amazes me what can be done on a small budget. This short film is both more interesting, more creative, and more captivating than most blockbusters released this year (looking at you, Transformers series). If you've played Portal, you make recognize little things, such as the door opening and closing sound at the beginning and the cubes at the end, but you don't need to know a single thing about Portal to watch this. It's great all the same.
Credit goes to Enya for reminding me of this today, after I first saw it in the summer.
Oh, yeah, one last thought. The music reminds me of Trent Reznor's score for The Social Network (which you should see if you haven't).
